With both hands, we make... little magnets from pebbles!

30 May 2015
The next time you go for a family outing to the beach, do not forget to take a few pebbles back home with you. They will come in handy (especially after you read this article) when you want to spend quality time with your child by making this wonderful, colourful and useful handicraft that we are suggesting. In your hands, the white pebbles will acquire colour and little faces, while your refrigerator will acquire the most beautiful little magnets made from pebbles that will retain your most cherished memories.

You will need
Pebbles (medium size)
Thick markers, or tempera paints and brushes
Small magnets
Materials to make eyes/ eye stickers
Glue

Let's go...
After thoroughly washing the stones with water, we start decorating; either with thick markers or with tempera paints and brushes. We first colour one side, leave them a little while until they dry and then continue to colour the other side. It is a good idea for the stones to be flat and white.
We make little faces, monsters, animals, flowers and whatever else we like! With the help of glue, we stick one or two small magnets on the backs!
As for the eyes, these can either be painted or stuck on.
