As the weather gets colder, we spend more and more time indoors. Why not create your own house garden, with plants that are suitable for the coldest months of the year and very importantly, do not need much sunlight?

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is one of the easy indoor winter plants. As a tropical plant, it requires a warm temperature, but it does not need direct light. That is why you can have it inside your house, next to a window. Plus, it likes to be dry so water it only once a week. And as you may know, Aloe Vera has many medicinal properties: the juice of its leaves generally soothes burns and it’s full of vitamins and minerals.

Snake Plant

One of the perfect indoor winter plants! It almost never needs water and it can be neglected for weeks and still looks fresh. It does not even need a lot of light to survive and it is able to keep the air inside your home clean.

Succulent is a plant from the desert so it does not require a lot of water but it does needs a lot of bright, indirect light, so place it somewhere near a window.

Ethereal and beautiful, the fern does not require a lot of light. There are several types of ferns, but all can withstand winter temperatures of up to 10 ° C. For its care, simply sprayed the leaves with water, watered the plant very much during its development but add put very little fertilizer.

Begonias is one of the indoor plants that do not want light. A beautiful plant with many small and dense flowers. These flowers to thrive need a bit of heat but can withstand cold conditions for a short time. Begonia needs moisture but should be placed in a semi-dry place, where direct and bright light will be avoided
