Fish Sticks… Without a Pan!

Incredibly healthy, baked in the oven and garnished with aromatic herbs and lemon!
 
If you’ve ever been to England, you will have smelled that delicious aroma of their infamous fish and chips!  And children everywhere absolutely love fish sticks, that delicious crispy crumbed exterior with an inside that’s so tender and juicy! 
 
So we thought we’d show you how to cook the most delicious fish sticks without the need for a whole lot of frying oil. Instead, you’ll be baking them in the oven, turning out a dish that the whole family will want to eat!
 
What you will need:
 
Fish sticks
 
A drizzle of olive oil or sunflower oil
 
Any herbs of choice (e.g. oregano, thyme, pepper)
 
Lemon
 
Method:
 
Brush a little oil at the bottom of the dish into which you will be placing the fish sticks.  Next, place the fish sticks into the dish making sure they aren’t touching so as to avoid them sticking.  Sprinkle your choice of herbs on top.  Place in a preheated oven at 250°C for about 15 minutes until golden brown and crisp on the outside and thoroughly cooked on the inside (follow the cooking time recommendations on the packaging).
 
Before serving, squeeze some lemon onto the fish sticks while still hot! 
 
Absolutely decadent!!
