Prawns with ouzo, mustard and lemon

You’ve had a long day under the sun, and now, you’re ready to finish the day as great as it started. Look no further, for we have found your match: a delicious seafood dish- Prawns with ouzo, mustard, and lemon! It’s easy, fresh, and the perfect complement to the end of a summer’s eve. 

Ingredients


1 Kg prawns
1 shot ouzo
1 tbsp mustard
1 lemon
Olive oil
Oregano
Salt, pepper

Instructions


Wash the prawns under running water, removing the head and the black vein (found in the back of the prawn). Put some olive oil in a pan (just enough to cover the bottom of a pan) and heat it over a medium heat. Once warm, add the prawns, salt, pepper and oregano and sauté both sides for a just a minute, until slightly cooked. Add the ouzo shot and let it boil until it vaporizes. 

 Mix the mustard with the lemon juice in a bowl and throw the mix into the pan, tossing the prawns with it. Let the prawns and the sauce simmer until the sauce thickens, and then serve!
