A great DIY Christmas Art de la Table idea!

24 December 2017

What a better way to make your kids be part of the festive table decoration than to help them create the custom-made Christmas place mats!

The idea is to print out an A3 of a Christmas fairytale picture and give it a more festive look!

You will need:

A3 print outs of your children’s favourite Christmas fairytale images. You can also print out coloured copies of a drawing your children will have already made in a A3 paper!

Heavyweight printer paper

Glitter glue (You can use gold & white, silver or even red and green)

Scissors

Laminating pouches

Method:

Print the image on to the heavy weight printer paper. Print as many of mats as you need! Trim edges, as needed.

Squeeze a blob of glitter glue onto work surface and then dab the glitter onto your image in a thin layer, using your finger. Kids, particularly, love this part! They can also put various or a single colour of glitter on specific areas on the image, giving it a nice glittery look! Let dry thoroughly.

Insert glittered image into the laminating pouch. The waterproof, spill-proof customized Christmas place mat is ready!
