At METRO supermarkets, from the very first moment, we stood by the Ukrainian war victims and their call for help. We collected significant quantities of food that we delivered to the Municipality of Larnaca for that purpose.
Moreover, in cooperation with the active volunteer groups of Lions Larnaca & Famagusta Lions Club, we prepared food donations for the war refugees.
At the same time, together with the humanitarian organization «Hope For Children», we support Ukrainians who happened to be in Cyprus before the war and never made it back home and refugees who are seeking a shelter at our island. The «Hope For Children» organization collects and offers first aid, clothing, medical supplies, as well as phycological and legal support. We contribute to these efforts by offering coupons for free food supplies.
