Recipe for Skordalia

Make delicious Greek Skordalia at home courtesy of METRO! The below recipe make about 700-800g.
 
Ingredients:
Bread crumbs from a fresh loaf of village bread
150 ml olive oil
100 ml water
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp salt
8 cloves of garlic
100g skinless almonds
 
Directions:
 
 
1.jpg Put the bread crumbs, garlic cloves and salt in a blender or food processor, and mix.

Slowly add the olive oil.

6.jpg  After that, add some water and lemon juice while continuing to mix.

Lastly, add the almonds and mix for roughly 10 minutes, adding a little bit of water if necessary.
