METRO Animal Day is now an institution as this year’s 8th event will take place in the entire series of animal events. The event has done important work over the years and has supported the difficult task of animal shelters in Cyprus. A total of 220 stray animals were admitted, 1,500 kg of food were offered by Purina and 6,000 euros were donated by METRO for veterinary expenses.

This year, the 8th METRO Animal Day will be held on Sunday, 15th of October. METRO invites you all to attend and become part of this great and important effort.
Give them a home. And they will give you all their love. Adopt.
We are waiting for you at METRO Strovolos, Larnaca and Limassol, on 15/10, 10am - 2pm.
Get in touch with our little friends and support the work of Animal Welfare Organizations by adopting a pet and buying accessories for sale.
For each animal that will be adopted, METRO will contribute € 20 to veterinary expenses this year, and Purina will provide € 20 for food.
Our little animals before and after adoption
The results of our entire effort for our little animals is clearly reflected through the photographs of them before and after their adoptions.
Lilly, Bob, and Nia are just 3 out of the 220 animals that were adopted at METRO Animal Day. The change in quality of life for these animals is obvious. These animals, with their love, also improve the everyday life of the people who have adopted them.
