7 Herbs you can use in your cooking, and for décor!

08 July 2017
We all love sprucing up our homes every now and then, and what a better way to do so than with décor that has double the use!

For décor:

Plants not only look beautiful in a home, but they also create a healthy addition, as they are great air purifiers! To make the ultimate use out of your indoor herbs, try placing them in open spaces, such as décor in the living room. Place them on a book shelf, or an end table. You can also try placing them in the kitchens window sill. Make sure wherever in your home you place them, they are exposed to sunlight. This way, they can continue to grow and stay healthy. For additional flair, you can also plant them in creative ways that look great around the house, such as in mason jars, or hand panted pots!

Herbs to plant and to cook with:

Basil (for Pasta, sandwiches, soups, sauces)
Parsley (Steak, legumes, chicken, rice)
Mint (in beverages such as juice or water, salads, dips)
Oregano (meat, pasta, eggs, tomato based dishes)
Chives (eggs, meat, spreads or dips)
Cilantro (use in stir fry, guacamole, rice, dips, pasta)
Thyme (sauces, stews, soup, pasta, pork)
