Pink Aerobics - Breast Cancer Campaign

When one of our dearest customers Tracy Panayiotou, decided to organise a fundraising event for Breast Cancer Campaign and asked our assistance, we immediately said yes. Breast Cancer Campaign’s mission is to beat breast cancer by funding innovative world-class research to understand how breast cancer develops, leading to improved diagnosis, treatment, prevention and cure.

Tracy, decided to do her part for the cause by organising Pink Aerobics! On Friday 16th of July 2010, METRO’s parking lot was dressed in pink and many people gathered to watch and take part to the 3-hour event that included aerodance, latin dance, hip-hop beats, breakdancing, disco fever among others. Apart from the money collection and the sale of pink t-shirts and pins, members from Europa Donna Cyprus also attended and handed out information material. It was a fun event that helped raise money for a good cause.
